We are currently looking for a freelance AutoCAD programmer/application developer. AutoCAD application development experience is required. Experience in solar energy industry is an asset.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Analyze the scope and procedure documents to design application structure
Develop AutoCAD application with all required functionality using AutoCAD API
Test the application to ensure operational satisfaction
Complete development within project timeline
Create user manual and provide training
Communicate regularly with a project manager for report and idea sharing, etc.

The successful candidate:

Should be familiar with basic forms of coding: Java, Python or C++
Is proficient in programming language(s) that can be used in AutoCAD application development: AutoLISP, Object ARX, or VB.Net
Has proven experience with AutoCAD and AutoCAD API
Is creative and resourceful in structuring software
Is an excellent time-manager with a structured approach to his/her workload
Has excellent oral and written communication skills
Knowledge with wind load ballast calculation, civil engineering, structural engineering, or building code is an asset
