Auditor – Marberg Staffing – Toronto, ON

Auditor required for a Provincial Government office.

Responsibilities includes providing expertise, advice and consulting services to assist clients in the development and evaluation of risk management and control strategies for current or proposed operations, processes, policies and programs.

Will evaluate client business to improve strategic/operational planning, business processes, and related policies and procedures. Will plan, conduct, coordinate and lead multiple complex audit projects.

Project management skills to establish/document the Ministry’s operative control strategies and structures is preferred.

Must have strong knowledge of risk management frameworks and principles.

Must have knowledge of computer applications such as specialized audit software such as IDEA and Audit Command Language which is used to identify discrepancies in large quantities of data, and to determine areas of highest risk to direct audit testing.

Immediate government assignment.
