Architectural Sales Representative – United Decorating – Calgary, AB

Position Summary

We are looking for an energetic  Architectural Sales Representative to help grow our new Paint Brand.  Thes elected candidate will be responsible for assessing market and growth opportunities, gathering intelligence on customers and competitors, generating leads, following up and closing sales, building business relationships with prospective clients.

This is not a position for candidates seeking LMIA, only candidates with legal working status in Canada, will be considered for this position

Main Duties and Responsibilities of the Architectural Sales Representative:

Develop and maintain customer relationships with existing accounts and new clients
Account development and retention trough Marketing strategies and networking.
Execute and close sales calls, focused on value-added selling activities to exceed customer expectations.
Manage the sales functions from initial customer contact, preparing procedures, pricing, and technical support while the job is on-going.
Weekly and monthly results review against assigned goals.
Develop and implement sales strategies.
Develop relationship with customers, identify key personnel and decision makers.
Conduct regular sales meetings and presentations to increase sales volumes.
Secure client opportunities that provide profit and growth for the organization.
Conduct field visits to prospect potential customers and close sales.
Attend tradeshows and industry events to promote United Decorating Inc. as a brand.
Review and evaluate business situation, defining plans to achieve financial goals.
Leverage individual value drivers by understanding and influencing a wide range of customer stakeholders through sales process.

Desired Skills and Experience  for the Architectural Sales Representative:

Architect / Designer degree
10 years previous outside sales experience, within construction, retail paint, architectural or designer industry
Self-starter & Self-motivated with strong network of contacts in construction in Calgary
High drive and never give up attitude
Outstanding customer service and networking skills
Ideal candidate will be memorable, dynamic and over achiever
Paint: brands, properties, use
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point.
