Water Services Operator – Town of Banff

Water services is one of the departments within our Operations division. As part of this team, you’ll get to know out town’s infrastructure … from the inside out! You will encounter residents and business owners who rely on the condition of that infrastructure and expect our water supply to be clean and safe.

Reporting to the Foreman, Water Services, you join a dedicated group of employees known to work hard and show their passion and caring for our environment through safe and diligent practices. We take pride in serving our community of 9,000 residents, with a tourist and seasonal population which can exceed 30,000.

The successful applicant will possess 3 years field experience along with level I certification in water distribution, wastewater collection and water treatment. You’ll need a class 3Q Alberta driver’s licence with air endorsement, and experience in operating heavy and light equipment. Basic CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
