ABOUT THE ROLE
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for mapping the festival and emailing registered vendors their permit, setup and teardown details and the festival map.
Working with the Festival Operations and Market Manager: The Vendor Manager works across all three festivals, and deals with all vendors (including food and beverage) throughout the application process until they have paid their fee. This includes handling the registrations, acceptance emails, Vancouver Coastal Health forms, liquor applications, payments and confirmation emails, and sending payment reminders.
Creating the festival map.
Coordinate with festival programming team and event leads to determine vendor needs for festival events
Compile post-festival report
Attend all pre-festival meetings

QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills
Ability to take initiative on a variety of tasks
Experience with site management and/or vendor management an asset
Proficiency in Google Suite
A self starter, able to work independently and with minimal supervision
Great verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
Experience coordinating large, public events
Ability to meet deadlines, adjust quickly to changes in priorities, and work within a team environment to achieve results
Strong delegation skills
You are curious. You always seek to understand and ask questions.
REQUIREMENTS
Regular access to internet
Must be on site for full event day on Saturday, August 20th / Saturday, August 27th / Saturday, September 10th
Some weekday availability is an asset
RATE AND TERM
$22/hour for up to 50 hours, with the option to extend if needed.
Position starts immediately until approx September 30th, 2022.
