Secretary – Alexandria – Eastern Ontario Health Unit

DESCRIPTION OF JOB:
The individual is required to perform secretarial and support functions for the Public Health staff and management.

QUALIFICATIONS:
High school graduate with a minimum of one year community college in a program dedicated to the development of secretarial skills.
A minimum of 2 years related experience.
Excellent communication skills in both official languages.
Keyboarding skills (60 wpm).
Computer skills (Microsoft Word – advanced level; Windows 98 – basic level; .
Excellent knowledge of office organization and function.
Ability to take and prepare minutes.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and the use of an automobile.
