Revenue Clerk – City of Grand Forks

Under the general direction of the Chief Financial Officer, the Revenue Clerk is responsible for intermediate accounting and clerical duties, and is required to have sound knowledge of the regulatory bylaws of the City of Grand Forks (including but not limited to: Electrical Utility Regulatory Bylaw, Water Utility Regulatory Bylaw, Sewer Utility Regulatory Bylaw, Cemetery Bylaw, Tax Rates Bylaw).

Hours of work for this position are 37.5 hours per week.

Qualifications and Experience:
High School Graduation
Completion of intermediate accounting courses through a recognized post-secondary institution, or equivalent working experience, preferably in a mixed business and government environment
Good communication skills (verbal & written with strong level of literacy)
Skills, experience and proficiency in computer applications and software, particularly Excel
Familiarity with Vadim Municipal Software is an advantage
Team player with strong professional ethics
Experience with integration of data from various sources would be beneficial
Diplomacy, tact and excellent customer service skills

Benefits:
This is a Union position, subject to all Sections of the C.U.P.E. Local 4728 Collective Bargaining Agreement. Wage rate for this position as per the Collective Agreement is $32.45/hour
