The Nova Scotia Teachers Union invites applications for the support staff level position of Receptionist. The successful candidate must have excellent communications skills, both verbal and written, be intrinsically motivated, proactive and a self-starter. This highly organized individual must be able to multi task as well as change focus and re-prioritize as needed in our fast paced office environment.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, switchboard, incoming mail, booking internal meeting rooms, hotel liaison, database management and other administrative duties.
Qualifications:
Certificate in Office Administration
Minimum of 3 years related business experience
Experience with multi-line telephone system
Excellent typing and computer skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Be punctual, reliable and have outstanding daily attendance
