The City of Castlegar invites applications from persons interested in secretarial/receptionist work on a regular full time basis at the RCMP Castlegar detachment. Hours of work are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Preference will be given to applicants that have completed an applied business technology program and have previous experience in a police-related environment. Experience with police related computer systems (PRIME, CPIC, PIRS or NCDB), and experience in the operation of a switchboard and radio/telephone system would also be an asset.
The successful applicant is required to obtain a police enhanced level security clearance to commence employment in this position.
