Under the general direction of a Recreation Programmer, the Program Assistant will provide supervision to participants in registered programs and birthday parties at all four recreation centres. Successful candidates will ensure the safety and well-being of participants and communicate and work cooperatively with participants, parents, and supervisors. Requirements include completion of Grade 10, three months experience in a recreation day-camp environment, satisfactory police information check, Emergency First-Aid and CPR Level C. Successful candidates will be required to work varying shifts including evenings and weekends. Shifts are set based on bookings and registrations.
