The District of Saanich is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Preschool Assistant who will be responsible for assisting the Preschool Instructor in managing and facilitating activities in the E.C.O. Program at the Swan Lake Nature Sanctuary. The successful candidate will assist in the planning and implementation of the full year outdoor early childhood program including setup and clean-up of the room and equipment, lead children in activities as directed by the Instructor and provide program activity feedback to the Instructor. Requirements include: completion of Grade 10; 3 months experience in related area of instruction; satisfactory Police Information Check; and current Emergency First-Aid and CPR Level C. Must be an outdoor enthusiast who can smile in the rain! Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:45 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. (hours/shifts are subject to change).
