Prep/Line Cook – Vert Casse-Croûte – Toronto

Job Description:
Perform routine kitchen tasks.
Follow the prep list created to plan duties.
Label and stock all ingredients on shelves so they can be organized and easily accessible.
Prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and other meal prep.
Set up workstations and ingredients so that food can be prepared according to recipes.
Prepare dishes, such as salads, sandwich fillings, and soups.
Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and taking out trash.
Ensure that all food and other items are stored properly.
Follow food safety standard.
Perform other kitchen duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
1-2 years professional kitchen experience.
Self-directed is an asset, to follow the recipes and tasks on your own.
Valid Food Handlers’ Certificate.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Schedule:
8 hour shift
Monday – Friday
