The Municipal District of Bonnyville No. 87 invites applications for the position of Planning & Development Clerk. This position will report directly to the Director of Planning and Development within the Planning and Development Department.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Issue permits in the Electrical, Plumbing/Gas, and Private Sewer disciplines.
Reconcile permit accounts
Answering telephone and counter inquiries for the department.
Receipting subdivision applications, development and building permits.
Typing correspondence, reports and other related materials as required.
Maintaining records including file scanning, databases, and reports for planning and development.
Record and track permits
Performing special assignments and duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in the administrative field.
Good computer skills, proficient with computerized accounting systems, MS Word, Excel and Access.
Good interpersonal and teambuilding skills required, as well as the ability to handle public inquiries, complaints, etc.
