F. K. Warren Limited is committed to providing a comprehensive range of Marine Agency Services at all ports throughout Canada. We are looking to fill the position of payable clerk in our Halifax Office. This is a contract opportunity commencing July until November 27, 2015.
Job Description:
As an integral part of the F.K. Warren team, your primary responsibility will be entering payables, preparing cheque runs, vendor reconciliations, prepayments, and reviewing expense reports. Secondary responsibility will be preparing small disbursement accounts; which includes but is not limited to: entering invoices and prepayments into customer accounts, creating internal invoices and generating summary invoices for the customers. You will need to have excellent organizational and time management skills. You will help out with other general accounting duties and reception duties when required.

Requirements:
Ideally we are looking for someone with a minimum of two years’ experience in a similar position and participation in an accounting program. We require someone who is confident with computers, experienced using Sage 300 (AccPac), and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook). This position requires an organized person who works well under pressure and deadlines.
