ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Network and list management
Helps significantly build out and maintain Clean Energy Canada’s outreach lists.
Effectively uses databases and CRM software to organize networks.
Creates and distributes emails in Mailchimp and/or other CRM tools.
Develops ways to improve our campaign metrics, including increasing subscribers and running A/B tests to maintain and grow open rates.
Builds relationships with key stakeholders relevant to campaign goals.
Website coordination and updating
Works with the manager of reports and outreach and a web developer to build out and maintain campaign-specific websites.
Performs regular checks to ensure the website is functioning and up to date.
Tracks website metrics, including SEO metrics, and identifies ways to optimize visits and use.
Research and analysis
Works with others on the policy and communications team to identify new studies and information related to our campaigns, updating outreach products accordingly.
Other communications support
Acts as a backup for other communications team members, including assisting with sending out press releases or keeping the Clean Energy Canada website up to date.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
An undergraduate degree and at least one year of related professional experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite programs (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Google Docs).
Experience with content management systems (WordPress), mailing services (Mailchimp), and CRM software—or at least the ability to learn software quickly and well.

SUPERVISION
The outreach coordinator reports to the manager of reports and outreach.
WORKING CONDITIONS
The ideal candidate will be located in Vancouver, or in another city where Clean Energy Canada has offices: Victoria, Ottawa, or Toronto.
Clean Energy Canada offers a hybrid work environment, requiring that some days are worked in the office with the flexibility to work other days from home, pending manager approval.
COMPENSATION
Salary starting from $56,108 with a comprehensive benefits package.
