The Village of McBride is seeking to create a new position – Casual Office Assistant/Customer Service Representative. If you are a self- directed individual, are highly proficient in an Office environment, and have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, we would like to hear from you.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer/Treasurer, responsibilities will include learning and administering ICBC related tasks, reception and general administrative and financial duties, assisting the Treasurer, CAO, and the Customer service representatives as required.
Experience with MuniWare software or ICBC would be a definite asset. This will be a Union Position (currently negotiating a collective agreement) Starting pay will be $14/hr pending the collective agreement ratification. Initially this will be an on call position to relieve current staff (holiday/sick time etc), with an opportunity to move to a full time Customer Service Representative.

Minimum requirements are grade 12 diploma supplemented with office/finance, or administrative training and at least 2 years of experience, preferably in a municipal setting.
