TASK DESCRIPTION
Specific mandate
Create a connectivity plan linking two peat bogs
Consult and mobilize community partners
Organize an interregional forum on ecological connectivity
Develop the Mauricie Ecological Connectivity project
Develop an action plan according to the priority corridors
Research funding for implementation
Coordinate a turtle awareness campaign
General mandate of an adviser
Reflect, develop and coordinate projects
Search for funding
Manage the budget associated with a project
Participate in the drafting of opinions and recommendations
Represent the organization on committees and tables
Undertake other mandates related to the mission of the organization
REQUIRED PROFILE
Experiences and training
2 to 5 years of experience
Relevant training or equivalent professional experience (biology, ecology, environmental science, geography, other)
Knowledge of cartography (QGIS)
Experience in grant applications
Assets:
Geomatics (QGIS), knowledge of Mauricie, familiarity with Google Suite, LinkedIn, Facebook, Canva, Trello

WORKING CONDITIONS
Full-time (32 h/week)
Possibility of week to 4 days
5 weeks vacation (2 at Christmas)
6 days of personal leave
1 year contract (renewable)
Compensation starting at $23/hour
Teleworking and face-to-face (Trois-Rivières)
