Membership and Publications Coordinator – The Royal Astronomical Society of Canada – Toronto

Key duties include:
Membership Administration
Develop and implement initiatives to engage existing membership and recruit new members
Maintain membership and Centre pricing
Update mass communications to members in CRM software, including welcome and renewal letters
Member services including database maintenance and troubleshooting, membership renewal, addressing membership concerns, merging duplicate profiles, updating profiles
Update member profiles in CRM software with individual emails, new information from individual members
Update CRM software and RASC website with information relevant to membership
Write updates for the RASC Bulletin (monthly) and Newsletter (weekly) regarding membership-relevant information as necessary
Support RASC Centres with database maintenance, administration and reports
Develop membership campaigns and strategies for supporting existing members and Centres
Assist in office management, ordering, file management etc.
Provide monthly membership reports to the Executive Director

Qualities and Experience
Quick, flexible learner
One year experience with CRM software
One year experience providing excellent customer service
Good organizational skills
Interest in astronomy an asset

The Membership and Publications Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining and updating membership records and managing our publications portfolio.
Publications Administration
Maintain product descriptions and pricing in online store
Produce twice-weekly sales report
Distribute and maintain distribution list for the Journal of the RASC
Order new printings of publications when necessary
Receive shipments to the National Office
