We are looking for 6 Manufacturing Assistants!
Our client, a Canadian owned and operated company manufacturer and distributor of health supplements, has been positively impacting the health of people around the world. Our client is currently looking 6 Manufacturing Assistants. Please note that the training will be held during the day.
The main tasks:
Responsible for efficiently mixing raw materials and maintaining the highest possible safety and quality standards.
Performing all control room operations: sets up, operates and maintains equipment to batch and process products; cleans and sterilizes equipment; diagnoses and trouble shoots problems in order to obtain maximum product flow without sacrificing quality and minimize waste.
Set up, maintaining and operating machines that compress blended raw materials into tablets.
Following safety policies, Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures.
Examining tablets for defects, such as chips, discoloration, broken tabs, soft tabs, lamination, capping and contamination.
Completing department paperwork during and at the end of each production run.
Operating coating equipment and unloading tablets from coating equipment at the end of each batch.
Mixes and prepares coating solutions for use in tablet coating equipment.
Ensuring that the company’s procedures and policies are respected.
Maintaining a clean and orderly work area.
Executing any other tasks related to the position.

Requirements:
Completion of High School or equivalent.
3 to 6 months of experience in a similar position.
Previous experience in the pharmaceutical or natural health products industry is an asset.
Proficient in the use of the English language.
Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
