Saanich Commonwealth Place is seeking certified Lifeguards who will be responsible for ensuring the safety and enjoyment of participants in aquatic activities. This includes leading activities, games and events of interest and performing hosting duties. Lifeguards also ensure that participants are acting in accordance to facility rules and the facility and equipment are in safe, working condition. Requirements include completion of Grade 10; current National Lifeguard Service certification (Waterpark Option); current Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation certification – Level C with AED certification; current Standard First Aid Level 1 certification; over one month, up to and including three months experience and a satisfactory police information check. Successful candidates will be required to work varying shifts including evenings, weekends and nights (hours/shifts are subject to change).
