Role Summary
Reporting to the Housekeeping Supervisor and Director of Rooms, the laundry associate is responsible for loading and unloading washing machines and dryers, folding and ironing sheets, towels and bedding for various departments.

Accountabilities
Sort items prior to loading washing machine
Change loads from washing machine to dryer
Sort and fold towels, sheets, bedding, uniforms etc.
Iron required items
Sort and organize clean items into department areas
Check that all equipment is in working order
Keep laundry room and surrounding area clean and organized
Assist in housekeeping department as required
Compliance with all safety regulations of assigned tasks, and ensure a clean and safe work environment with active participation in the health & safety program
Adhere to all environmental policies and programs as required
Other duties as assigned

Requirements
Resort experience preferred
Superior attention to detail
Ability to multi-task and organize time effectively and efficiently

Working Conditions
Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, evenings, weekends and holidays
Stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire shift
Move, life, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance
We partner with Looncall, a property management company, who provides local dormitory accommodations in Port Carling. The resort offers a shuttle bus service and is for JW associates only.
