Bhader S Bola dba Classy Cuts located in Surrey, BC urgently requires full-time permanent Hairstylist to join our growing team.

Job Duties:
Determine hairstyle as per customer’s instructions and/or preferences or suggest hair style compatible with customer’s physical features.
Cut and/or trim hair using scissors and clippers.
Shave, trim moustaches and beards.
Blow drying, braiding, iron waving/curling, permanents, extensions, twisting and pin curling.
Analyze hair and scalp conditions and provide advice on care treatments.
Provide bleaching, coloring, waving and straightening services.
Book appointment, perform cashiering duties and receptionist duties when required.
Ensure cleanliness of work area.
Maintain and sanitize hair cutting tools and salon instruments.

Job Requirements:
Completion of high school
Completion of hairstyling apprenticeship program or other program in hairstyling will be an asset
2-3 years of work experience as a Hairstylist
Skills: Judgement, client focus, flexibility, reliability, expert in hair colouring/styling techniques, excellent oral communication skills

Position Details:
Position: Hairstylist
Number of positions: 1
Salary: $13.00-14.00 / hour (depending upon skills and exp)
Working Hours: 40 hours / week
Vacation Pay: 4%
Job Type: Full – Time; Permanent
Anticipated start date: ASAP
