Greenhouse Position
Urban Harvest is looking for someone to work in our greenhouse to help grow our seedlings for sale and for our farm fields. In this position, you would be participating in daily greenhouse tasks, such as: seeding, transplanting, watering, labelling and the general tending of seedlings.

Responsibilities
Working to complete daily greenhouse tasks
Daily communication with coworkers
Tracking supplies and equipment as needed
Maintaining an organized and safe workspace
Driving a van to transport seedlings within Toronto (for 1 candidate)

Requirements
Greenhouse and/or farm experience, knowledge of seeding an asset
Ability to do physical work
Good communication skills
Extremely organized and attentive to detail
Valid Ontario Driver’s License
Minimum age of 25 as required by vehicle companies. (We rent for the season)
Ability to work in the North York area of Toronto
Excitement about organic, heirloom plants!
Term: Starting late March to end of June
Hours: 5 days/week (occasionally 6), 40-45 hours per week
