Job Responsibilities
Canvass door to door, on streets and campuses, getting unlikely voters to pledge to vote in a federal election
Attend canvasser training, with potential to lead trainings with future canvassers on your team
Memorize and recite canvassing scripts, approach and engage with potential voters in a friendly and professional manner
Be flexible to commute with your manager and team to different locations within your region
Report to shifts in a timely manner, communicate clearly with your manager and maintain mutual respect with coworkers and your manager
Meet quotas and goals set by the manager to mobilize voters via canvassing

More specifically, you:
Have strong communication skills, a good work ethic, and a passion for social change
Have a commitment to non-partisan organizing and are willing to uphold nonpartisanship for the duration of your contract
Are able to work within a team or independently, and value feedback
Are willing and able to approach members of the public at their place of residence in a fast paced environment, and cover a large territory each day
Can comfortably move outdoors for up to 5 hours a day
Are available to work weekends and evenings
Comfortable travelling within your region to canvassing turf
Previous canvassing, sales, non-profit, customer service, or political campaign experience preferred but not required
