Applications are invited for the Regular Full-Time position of Gardener to work in the Parks Operations Division.  Under the direction of the Superintendent, Parks Operations Division, this supervisory position is responsible for manual work as well as exercising independence of judgment and action in all phases of landscaping and gardening as well as general Parks operational duties.

RATE OF PAY: Pay Grade:  $32.35 per hour (2015 C.U.P.E. rates)

HOURS OF WORK: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

The incumbent will have considerable knowledge of the standard practices, methods, materials, tools, and equipment used in the landscaping and gardener trade.  A Diploma in Horticulture from a recognized institution and related experience is desired. A Certificate with the International Society of Arborists and a valid Class 5 B.C. Driver’s Licence are required.
