Job Responsibilities:
Execute and manage the weekly garden maintenance of private residential gardens in Vancouver
Lead a crew of 2-3 gardeners on a daily basis and train in proper horticultural practices
Coordinate work and schedules with maintenance managers and liaise with clients
Submit daily receipts, project sheets, and time sheets
Manage truck, equipment, and materials for crew as required
Prune ornamental shrubs and trees
Hedge trimming
Planting

Job Requirements:
Completion or currently enrolled in a Horticulture program from a recognized post-secondary institution. And/or certification from BCLNA, Red Seal or equivalent.
A minimum of 3 years experience in ornamental garden maintenance
Hold a valid driver’s license with clean driver’s abstract
Have excellent plant id
Have sound knowledge of proper care for perennials, trees and shrubs
Skilled in using a variety of power equipment including a hedge trimmer, lawn mower, line trimmer, blower, etc.
Proficiency in minor irrigation repairs and system programming
Work hard
