Retail shipping store with locations in Markham and Scarborough has an immediate opening for a full time assistant.

Hours of work, Monday to Friday from 10:00am to 7:00pm. $30,000.00 annually.

Candidates must have the ability to multi task, prioritize their work and be able to work efficiently in a fast paced retail store and a warehouse environment.

Minimum requirements:
Heavy lifting involved, must be able to lift up to 70 pounds (32 kilos)
Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in sales and customer service
Proficient with computers, Microsoft office and the internet
Maybe responsible for opening or closing retail store (must be insurable and bondable)

Qualifications:
Ability to follow instructions and retain information regarding company procedures, protocol, packaging, and shipping techniques
Self-starter, self-motivated, fluent in English as a first language (secondary language in Manderin, Cantanese would be an asset) and
have strong verbal and written interpersonal skills, leadership skills, and communication skills with customers and suppliers
Previous experience in logistics and documentation with UPS, Fedex, Purolator, DHL, TNT LTL trucks a definite asset
Valid driver’s license (a drivers abstract maybe requested)
