The suitable candidate would have:
Experience with basic animal husbandry
Farming experience (including crop/animal care, use of heavy equipment, etc.)
Ability to be adaptable to working on multiple projects
Strong work ethic
Attention to detail
Passion for environmental conservation and green methods of cultivation
Passion for wildlife and wildlife friendly farming practices
A positive attitude and demeanour
Exceptional candidates may also possess the following:

Horticulture experience
Post-secondary education in a relevant field (biology, agriculture, horticulture, etc.)
Outdoor field skills
First aid training and experience
Public speaking and/or education experience
Produce marketing experience (e.g., Farmer’s Markets, etc.)
This is a full-time, seasonal position, with the potential to transfer to a permanent position for the right candidate. Wages start at $18 – 19/hour, dependent on experience.
