Environmental Programs Analyst – Divert NS – Nova Scotia

What qualities are needed in this role?
The Environmental Programs Analyst is responsible for doing research focused on waste reduction improvements and best-practices in education and enforcement. You will also support the implementation of green initiatives and policies across the organization.
Ideally, you have some experience in the field or similar position and a Bachelor in Environment Science or Studies, or a related discipline. You are an organized and analytical person, who can conduct researches that support the company decision-making and program planning.
You are a team player who can work with minimal supervision and has excellent interpersonal skills to interact with the government, industry partners and the general public.
Finally, you are interested in creating innovative solutions to improve the environmental performance of Divert NS. You know about waste diversion programs and related regulations in Nova Scotia.
