TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate with festival programming team and event leads to determine entertainment needs for festival events
Compile post-festival report
Attend all pre-festival meetings
Responsible for coordinating the 10+ family-friendly music and performance stages across the festival.
Oversee different types of stages
Programme stages for music and performances
Review the list of performer registrations in Airtable to select appropriate musicians and performers, and coordinate with selected performers to build the set list
Logistical coordination including preferred locations (based on surrounding vendors, potential for overcrowding, etc.) and times for performances
Manage approved buskers

QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills
Ability to take initiative on a variety of tasks
Experience with site management and/or vendor management an asset
Proficiency in Google Suite
A self starter, able to work independently and with minimal supervision
Great verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
Experience coordinating large, public events
Ability to meet deadlines, adjust quickly to changes in priorities, and work within a team environment to achieve results
Strong delegation skills
You are curious. You always seek to understand and ask questions.
REQUIREMENTS
Regular access to internet
Must be on site for full event day on Saturday, August 20th / Saturday, August 27th / Saturday, September 10th
Some weekday availability is an asset
RATE AND TERM
$22/hour for up to 50 hours, with the option to extend if needed.
Position starts immediately until approx September 30th, 2022.
