Abbotsford School District is looking for qualified candidates to work as Casual On-Call Education Assistants.

Successful applicants will have graduated from a minimum one-year program for Education Assistants, Child and Youth Work or Community Support from a recognized community or technical college, supplemented by a minimum of one year of experience in a related setting.

Experience in providing assistance to students who may require additional support for academic, behavioural and special needs in a classroom or group setting in the completion of prescribed academic programs is required.

The current salary rate is from $22.69 to $23.49 per hour with an additional 8% of straight time pay in lieu of statutory and non-statutory benefits.
