20 hours/week – Saturday/Sunday/Monday
The Driver and Fleet Technician’s primary responsibility is to keep the system running efficiently by redistributing and maintaining bikes. This position involves working both in the field and in the workshop.
Field tasks:
Install and maintain stations, including racks, bikes, signs, and space around hub
Maintain bikes at stations (including mechanical and electronic issues)
Redistribute bikes between stations
Pick up bikes to return to the workshop for service
Deliver serviced bikes to stations
Inspect bike stations for safety, operability and cleanliness.
Driving the redistribution truck and trailer
In-house tasks
Monitor usage statistics using the computerized back end
Reporting and ensuring processes are documented through Maintenance Reports and other mechanisms
Perform data entry as required
Genera customer service via phone, email and in-person
Maintaining a clean, organized workshop and office space
Other general responsibilities
Treat all bike share customers with respect and dignity, and address their concerns in a timely and thorough manner.

Requirements
Valid driver’s license and clean drivers abstract
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Experience with bicycle repair
Comfortable driving a service vehicle with trailer
Confidence to cycle throughout the service area, potentially pulling a trailer
Experience with general office software and cloud based management/ticketing systems
Must love bikes 🙂
