JOB SUMMARY
The Development Coordinator as a member of the development team will steward both corporate and individual donors as assigned by the Development Manager. They will assist in the execution of a major acquisition campaign for individual donors and workplace campaigns for corporate partners. They will be responsible for aiding in accounts receivable when needed and maintaining all assigned accounts in Raiser’s Edge. They will be responsible for renewing existing assigned accounts annually and securing new sponsor partners through leads assigned by the Development Manager. Note that we would be excited to welcome a fully bilingual person (French/English).
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Responds to inquiries from prospective donors/sponsors.
Responsible for the creation and coordination of sponsor agreements and presentations.
Assists with the coordination, planning and delivery of Tree Canada’s acquisition and workplace campaigns
Maintains assigned account information in Raiser’s Edge database.
Performs other related duties as required.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Post-secondary education in a related field such as fundraising, marketing/communications, business development, or a combination of related education and experience. Previous experience working for a non-profit would be an asset.

Ability to communicate both in English and French would be ideal for this position.

COMPENSATION
Note that Tree Canada offers a competitive medical and dental benefits package and RRSP contributions matched by employer (up to 5% of salary). Starting salary will be commensurate with experience within the range of $40,000 to $50,000.
This is a full-time (37.5 hours/week) position.
