Database Assistant – Rivershed Society of British Columbia – Coquitlam

The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Database Assistant to join our team. As the Database Assistant, you will ensure our Keela database is up-to-date and structured to enhance effectiveness. In addition to database duties, you will provide administrative support to the fundraising and communications teams, monitor incoming email messages, and participate in ongoing decolonization and reconciliation discussions.
Although a remote, work-from-home position, we offer a dynamic and fun work environment with a team committed to connecting a movement to protect and restore the Fraser Watershed.

Qualifications:
Organized, professional, and attentive, with solid communication and writing skills.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks and demands, working both independently and with a remote team.
Proficient use of database and computer programs and online tools such as Keela, Microsoft 365 (primarily Outlook, Teams, Word and Excel)
Strong ability to manage and analyze data and produce relevant reporting.
Strong attention to detail and excellent follow-through.

How to apply:
Applicants must be between the ages of 15 and 30 (inclusive), and be a permanent Canadian resident, citizen, or refugee per the requirements of the Canada Summer Jobs program. Please send a cover letter and resume (including two references) as one PDF document via email to Justine Nelson ( Justine@Rivershed.com” target=”_blank, Justine@Rivershed.com ) with the subject line “Database Assistant” by April 19 at 4 pm.
