Qualifications & Eligibility:
Completion of Grade 12 supplemented by coursework related to information/database management.
Experience in a policing environment.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation and public speaking skills.
Proficiency in MS Office applications as well as software applications related to research and analysis.
Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships within and outside our organization.
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines with close attention to detail.
Ability to pass an RCMP security clearance.
Legal entitlement to work in Canada.

The Coquitlam RCMP is the police force of jurisdiction for the more than 200,000 citizens that live in the villages of Anmore and Belcarra, the cities of Coquitlam and Port Coquitlam and the Kwikwetlem First Nation. Important information:
Shortlisted applicants must pass RCMP entrance exams administered by the E Division Crime Analysis Section (EDCAS) in order to proceed to the interview stage.
EDCAS/RCMP entrance exams will occur during the week of January 16-20, 2016 and will be administered on site at RCMP E Division Headquarters in Surrey.No exceptions will be made and travel expenses will not be covered or reimbursed.
Applicants who have written and failed EDCAS/RCMP entrance exams within the last six months are not eligible to be tested for this recruitment process.
