Community Solar Program Coordinator – Net Zero Atlantic – Nova Scotia

Other duties that may be required include:
Investigate and document federal and provincial project financing and funding avenues.
Support preparation of internal and external presentations using PowerPoint.
Provide support to other aspects of clean electricity development in Nova Scotia as needed.
Within this role, you will assist with:
Creation of all aspects of program development and implementation, including templates, tools, processes and educational materials;
Creation and administration of claims and reporting processes;
Engaging with various stakeholders and collaborators;
Developing educational materials, presentations and other communication materials and graphics;
Writing reports and progress updates; and
Conducting data analysis and research.

Your qualifications include:
An undergraduate or Masters degree.
2+ years demonstrated experience in program / project development, design, coordination and administration.
Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple administrative aspects of creating a new program.
Motivated to contribute to Atlantic Canada’s transition to a net zero future.
Excellent communication skills and a desire to collaborate.
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Independent worker, well organized, self starter.

Assets (but not required):
Knowledge or experience in electricity and renewable energy sectors.
Experience collaborating with First Nations or equity deserving groups.
Familiarity with Atlantic Canadian energy and climate change policy goals, objectives and programs.
