Chief of Staff – Fuse Consulting Ltd. – Ontario

Primary Responsibilities
Provide support to company owners and the principal to deliver on operational, financial and project related tasks.
Financial oversight of Fuse operations including development of yearly budgets and oversight of our company workflow.
Implementation of a robust employee onboarding system.
Management of accounts receivable, client feedback and payroll.
Scheduling and implementation of our three-year vision script and strategic planning process for Fuse.
Co-ordination and management of quarterly feedback meetings and performance reporting with all Fuse staff.
Implementation of a professional development and employee metrics tracking system for all Fuse staff.
Scheduling and co-ordination of bi-annual training and team building sessions.
Consistent implementation and continual refinement of processes and workflows
Creation of new processes as necessary, to improve organization effectiveness.
Management of human resources and employee coaching.

Qualifications
Proven work experience as an Operations Coordinator, Operations Manager, Senior Project Manager, Chief of Staff, or similar role.
Experience in project delivery, with a natural ability to organize, implement, and follow-though to finalize tasks.
Above average working memory, including managing large amounts of complex information.
The ability to use a suite of tools to plan and monitor workload and formulas to explain and predict trends and preferred approaches.
High executive function, including prioritizing, delegation, problem solving and self-monitoring.
Strong client-facing and teamwork skills.
Excellent written and oral communication.
Hands-on experience with project management, payroll and invoicing tools (e.g., Asana, ADP and Harvest).
A background in science, experience or a degree in business administration, and a passion for conservation and sustainable resource development.

Position Details
This is a full-time position, and the candidate will play a key role in helping us grow our business and our influence at Fuse. Salary will be commensurate with experience, and includes a comprehensive health benefits plan and a fun, people-centered work culture that is committed to your personal and professional development. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in fully office based or a hybrid position – with 2-3 days per week in the office and the remaining days working remote. The candidate will have the option to be based out of one of two bright, creative office locations in Spruce Grove, AB or Salmon Arm, BC. Fully remote options may be considered, and we are open to considering a 0.75 FTE or 0.8 FTE role for the right candidate.
