Auxiliary Relief Positions
Open Posting: Work Available Immediately
The Saanich Municipal Hall is recruiting for various auxiliary relief Building Service Workers. The successful candidates will be responsible for routine work involving custodial care, cleaning and daily maintenance of municipal buildings and facilities. Requirements include Grade 11 and completion of Custodial Services Program; over 3 months and up to 6 months related experience; sufficient physical strength to perform the work and stamina to work varying shifts; possession of a valid Class 5 B.C. Driver’s Licence; satisfactory police information check and OFA Level 1 as required. This is casual, on-call work involving various shifts including afternoons and weekends to provide relief for sick leave and vacation coverage of regular staff.

These are C.U.P.E. Local 2011 positions with a wage of $26.03 per hour plus 13% in lieu of benefits. Job description and competition information can be found at www.saanich.ca.
