Assistant Manager Retail Store Paint – United Decorating – Calgary, AB

Position Summary

The Assistant Manager will meet store sales targets, providing excellent customer service and accurate color matching

Main Duties and Responsibilities of the Assistant Manager are but not limited to:

Serve walk-in customers and regular Painters.
Operate and maintain Tinting equipment.
Supervise, motivate and mentor team members
Perform inventories as per company policy
Performs color matching constantly and accurately
Ensures that shipping/receiving, storage is performed in an efficient manner in coordination with warehouse/store manager.
Helps in Loading, unloading, moving and storing material in coordination with the management.
Maintain and clean warehouse/store to company standards.
Merchandising
Must be able to lift 50lbs constantly
Deliver Products to Customers (Valid Driver’s license)

·Desired Skills and Experience for the successful Assistant Manager

8 years previous sales experience in Retail Paint, printing and/or Painting industries
Excellent color matching skills
Outstanding customer service and networking skills
Self-motivated, organized,
Must be comfortable using computer software.
