Administrative Assistant – Green Party of Canada – Ottawa, Ontario

The Green Party of Canada (GPC) is a federal political party and is represented in Parliament by its Leader Elizabeth May, MP for Saanich–Gulf Islands. The GPC is hiring an Administrative Assistant who will be responsible for fundraising administration and reception. This is a part time position (20 hours per week), flexible to different working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

Front desk reception
Donation processing
Preparation of bank deposits
Monthly donation reconciliation
Maintaining the Green Party database
Administering the donor appreciation and stewardship program
Keeping the fundraising and administration manual up to date

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized and engaged. Specific requirements include:

Fluent oral and written English and French
Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) databases
Experience in donation administration is an asset
Basic accounting knowledge and experience with financial systems
Ability to multi-task while adhering to deadlines
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Motivated to grow the Green Party of Canada by expanding its donor and member base
