Administrative Assistant – Green Drop Tree Care – Winnipg, MB

We are currently interviewing for the permanent full-time position of Administrative Assistant. This position requires you to handle all aspects of day-to-day office operations/clerical duties, be highly organized and able to prioritize tasks throughout the busy day. This position is for the person looking for a rewarding and challenging long term career opportunity.  Applicants with experience in the arbor/tree care industry will be given preference but will train suitable applicant.

Overview of responsibilities;

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

All aspects of general office clerical duties
Answering and making calls to customers/potential customers-follow ups
Entering data, invoicing/accounts receivables/spreadsheets

Qualification:

Min educational requirement – high school diploma or equivalent
2+ years of hands on administrative support experience
Formal computer training & knowledge of operating standard office equipment, proficiency in MS Excel and Outlook etc.
Good numeracy skills-basic accounting competency with an understanding of invoicing, billing
Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
Exceptional customer service skills, over the phone & occasionally in person
Must have the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment -strong attention to detail and accuracy is essential and excellent organizational skills required.
Must be able to maintain professionalism and a positive service attitude at all times.
Ability to adapt to challenges, changing work expectations and demonstrate initiative to learn and develop
Ability to work independently and efficiently
Must be able to work Mon to Fri  8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. including some overtime March to July
