Administrative Assistant / Data Entry Clerk – United General Insurance Corporation – Fredericton

United General Insurance Corporation is a NB owned automobile insurance company. The company is owned by Carleton Mutual, Fundy Mutual, Southeastern Mutual and Stanley Mutual Insurance Companies

We are currently seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant / Data Entry Clerk.

The ideal candidate must have a strong familiarity with computers and software. Other requirements include excellent key boarding skills and a keen attention to detail. This person should be able to work independently and as a team player in a fast paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:

Alpha-numeric data entry into insurance database.
Responsible for a full range of administrative duties including: filing, work processing, correspondence, creation of client records, updating information, photocopying, faxing, scanning.
Keep a clean, safe and organized work area.
Adhere to policies, procedures and safety regulations.
Reporting to immediate supervisor.
Other duties as required.

Required Skills:

Previous experience working in the insurance industry would be considered an asset.
A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a data entry clerk.
Exceptional organizational and communication skills
Problem solving and decision making ability
Work well under pressure and meet required deadlines
