What you will accomplish at PE:
Drive Portable Electric’s commercial strategy and sales budget
Develop and manage a pipeline of new business opportunities to support growth objectives
Capture new business and successfully onboard new customers
Build awareness of PE and its capabilities through innovative and targeted marketing initiatives
Develop a presence in targeted industries, including but not limited to public sector and heavy commercial
Cultivate industry relationships in support of growth objectives
Develop and manage marketing budget and strategy
Monitoring progress towards goals and objectives, developing ongoing reporting materials for executive leadership and the Board.
Contribute to the development and refinement of the company’s vision and strategy
Your track record will include:
Minimum 7 years of professional experience growing technology companies with a bonus on growing hardware or clean-tech startups
Direct experience driving a team of sales reps that work with varied sales cycles
Experience managing a team of Sales professionals
Experience leading Sales in a startup in hyper growth
Experience in hiring, developing and coaching a sales team, including performance management
Strong customer and escalation management skills
Demonstrable track record of meeting and exceeding company sales goals.
B2B marketing experience. Clean technology or industrial hardware experience required
Experience managing cross-channel marketing campaigns
Proven ability to effectively position and message the value of a product and develop strong business alignment to launch messaging campaigns
High level of comfort preparing documents and presenting to potential investors and financial stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to work creatively amidst competing priorities to deliver high-impact marketing programs on-time and within budget to support overall marketing strategy and business objectives
Disciplined, self-aware, self-starter with ability to lead in an unstructured environment. Handles ambiguity well and guides others positively and effectively in fast-paced environment.
