Storekeeper – Ocean Steel & Construction Ltd – Saint John

Ocean Steel is currently has a career opportunity for as Storekeeper, located in Saint John, New Brunswick.

Responsibilities:

Maintaining inventory of production materials and equipment;
Receiving and distribution of stores material;
Creating tool kits for daily production;
Computerized issuing, receiving & tracking of stores material using JD Edwards One World software;
Assist Safety Coordinator with safety related items.

Education Requirements – Knowledge & Skills:

Knowledge and previous use of Microsoft applications, specifically Outlook and Excel;
High school diploma or equivalency;
Previous experience in receiving and distribution of materials in the Construction Industry considered an asset;
Knowledge in the proper use of different hand tools;
Strong organizational & time management skills;
Ability to communicate well with others;
Standard First Aid or First Responder training would be an asset.
