Our company is an innovative designer and manufacturer lighting systems for the marine, naval and offshore sectors, with presence in the global market. As the Sales/Marketing Manager you will be responsible for developing new business strategies, forging solid relationships and servicing existing client’s needs throughout North America.
The ideal candidate would require a technical background within the lighting industry to not only drive sales but offer accurate and detailed information about the products.
Responsibilities will include:
Business development: driving for new business and providing continuous service to existing clients
Build solid long-term relationships with clients, contractors, engineers and distributors
Develop, achieve and exceed clearly defined sales targets and goals
Present products to all external parties and grow brand awareness
A consultative approach, knowing or acquiring technical expertise necessary to sell products and answer queries
Provide market feedback on industry sales
Management and Participation of key trade show and exhibition events
Regular customer visitations
Provide monthly and quarterly targets and achievements
Input on development of sales materials, print, electronic & web based
Manage the planning, development and implementation of operational strategies to increase efficiencies, develop sales forecasts and grow revenues to ensure overall profitability
Collect, analyze and utilize market intelligence data on competitive products, customer needs, preferences and buying habits.
Develop, implement, and manage sales goals and strategies in support of company goals and strategies
The company will expect from you:
Several years’ experience in a lead sales role
A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma: Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Design, Technical / Engineering or related
Strong relationship building and relationship management skills
Solid MS Office knowledge
Knowledge of lighting design software programs
The ability to read and comprehend engineered lighting plan sheets
Knowledgeable in lighting standards, codes and product requirements
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrate in depth knowledge of lighting and lighting control systems.
Demonstrate an understanding of Commercial Terms and Conditions.
Demonstrate well developed presentation skills.
Superior customer service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Effective time management skills.
Self-starter; motivated, team focused and results driven
Strong presentation, organizational, and time management skills
