The ENMAX Centre is a full service event facility that provides our community with a variety of experiences through sport, culture, entertainment, and special event programs. We operate in four business areas all within the hospitality industry, and are continually moving toward our broad goals of creating a positive customer experience with our patrons and clients, providing broad and diverse events, building key alliances with business partners, and operating like a profit centre.
We are seeking a full-time permanent Sales, Marketing, and Ticketing Manager. The ideal candidate will be well versed in sales and business, marketing and promotional development locally and abroad, and understand ticketing operations, sales, and technology. This position will play a leadership role with its teams, and develop strategies and goals for all three areas. It will be responsible for generating revenue through our current business streams as well as creating and implementing business plans that further revenue development through sponsorships, advertising, events, and other creative and new programming. We are looking for a results-oriented team member who demonstrates professionalism and is committed to providing exemplary public service.
This position will also be responsible for the development and implementation of public relations, brand integrity, assisting internal departments and third party clients with marketing and promotional strategies, ticketing, and other services. This would include social media, electronic advertising, street awareness, and other creative programing.
As the leading candidate, you will bring or have the following:
Completion of a college or university program in sales and marketing, and/or business management,
A minimum of three year’s experience in marketing and sales, and a thorough knowledge of sales and business marketing strategies is required.
Demonstrated strong communication skills, use of software programs, especially graphic, and knowledge and understanding of social media platforms.
Demonstrated ability to research, negotiate, and sell, as well as develop and maintain relationships with government, business, media, and association contacts.
Team leadership and internal organizational skills, and the ability to meet multiple deadlines is a must.
Understanding of ticketing systems and sales is required.
Knowledge and understanding of the arena, sport, and entertainment industry is an asset.
