Atlantic Beef Products Inc. (ABPI) is the only federally Inspected beef slaughter, cut and grind facility in Atlantic Canada and serves retail and foodservice customers and the beef and dairy industry in the region. We produce brands such as Atlantic Signature Beef, Atlantic Blue Dot and Certified Island Beef.
As we continue to grow our business and to open new markets for our products, we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to support our sales department. This position will work with the sales and marketing team and directly under our Sales Manager, to coordinate and streamline existing sales channels while maximizing profitability levels and utilizations rates for our branded beef.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage/enhance/build upon existing customer relationships
Develop new customer relationships
Assist with day to day sales and customer service duties with order placement and shipping documentation.
Working closely with our management team to ensure that company targets are reached and exceeded
Assisting Sales team with projects as needed
Required Experience:
Relevant Post-Secondary educations such as Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business Administration, Marketing or Commerce degree preferred
Have at least two years in a food related industry, preferably with beef experience and in a sales or customer service capacity
Must be able to handle rapidly shifting priorities
Accuracy and attention to detail, to be highly organized, focused and confident
High proficiency with Microsoft Office/Excel
Bilingualism an asset
