Newcap Halifax is seeking a motivated, organized and creative individual to join our team as Sales Coordinator for Q104 and Radio 96.5. If you enjoy a fast paced, energized environment surrounded by people who make things happen…we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with the sales and promotions departments to represent two fantastic stations
Oversee all sales-driven promotions, events and remote broadcasts
Attend major station/client promotions and events as required
Ensure all sales forms, sales packages and media kits are kept up to date
Create and edit sales proposals
Create wrap-up reports for sales-driven tactics, features and events
Participate in weekly sales meetings and take and distribute meeting minutes
Manage and update content on station websites
Coordinate client events
Generate and update sales reports and maintain sales CRM system
Enter broadcast orders related to sales promotions, sponsorships and PSA campaigns
Assist with reception relief as needed

Skills & Qualifications:

High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Ability to prioritize and multi-task
Highly organized, detail oriented, conscientious and reliable
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Radio background an asset
Proficiency with broadcasting industry software (WideOrbit, Airware) considered ideal
Valid driver’s license
