Amalgamated Dairies Limited (ADL), PEI’s largest dairy and milk products processor is currently accepting resumes for the following position:

Quality Control Supervisor​

The successful candidate will become an important member of our quality control team responsible for product quality at a broad range of dairy food processing facilities.

The results orientated individual will report to the Quality Control Manager but will have responsibility of monitoring product micro/chemistry results, plant environmentals, sanitation and quality SOP implementation. Duties will also include employee training, sanitation and quality SOP reviews and updates, as well as, updates to QC manuals.  Responsibilities will also include the monitoring of production line records, trouble shooting issues and the development of remedial actions.  This position assists in the preparation of third party audits and will be an active participant in the audits as well.

Preference will be given to those candidates with experience in developing, implementing and maintaining HACCP and food product quality/safety systems.  Candidates must be willing to work as part of a team and must possess excellent communication and organizational skills. Demonstrated problem solving abilities are essential. Preference will be given to candidates who possess a post secondary degree in Science, as well as training in microbiology.
