Purchasing and Inventory Supervisor – Ottawa – Broder Electric Ltd

Broder Electric Ltd. Is currently looking to hire a reliable, knowledgeable and personable individual to fill a full-time Purchasing and Inventory Supervisor position.

Terms of Employment:
Full Time
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Placing all orders for job materials and stock items
Expedite orders and track back orders
Arrange for major materials to be delivered to jobsites
Organize the warehouse
Fleet management
Tool Maintenance and tracking
Shipping and receiving

Experience:
Knowledge of electrical parts, materials and installations is a MUST
Training in Inventory control methods and programs preferred.
Three years of experience in Inventory and Purchasing in the electrical industry preferred
Fluent in English (read, write, speak)
Knowledge of French is a plus

Maintain accurate record keeping
Computer literate in Word processing, Spreadsheets, Order processing, Inventory and database software

Education:
Minimum High School Graduation Diploma or equivalent.
Licensing, Registration and Certification:

WHMIS (Can be trained once hired)
Fork Lift (Can be trained once hired)
Valid G Drivers License
